Maurois Will Speak Tonight on First Crimson Network Program

With Andre Maurois appearing as the opening night feature, the long-delayed Crimson Radio Network will put on a three and a half hour show tonight from 7:30 until 11 o'clock, over a network that includes Eliot, Lowell, Leverett, and Winthrop. The reception wave-length will be 800.

Maurois, internationally famed author, who is now a refugee from Nazi Europe, will discuss modern literature from 10 to 10:15 o'clock after his talk on the fall of France before the Foreign Relations Club in Lowell House.

In order to determine when the listening audience is largest and what types of programs are most popular, the network will pass out a questionaire at lunch and dinner today in the seven Houses.

Kirkland, Dunster, and Adams will be on the air as soon as cables can be run to them from transmitting quarters in the basement of Winthrop House. All seven Houses will probably be receiving within the next ten days.

Experiments have been conducted since last year, and reception will be considerably improved as a result.
