Fifteen dead citizens were found voting by one of the 200 undergraduates who helped guard the polls in yesterday's election.
Checking voter's names with lists provided by party headquarters, 125 Willkie enthusiasts served on a Republican vigilante committee. They were protected in their work by the 40-man strong arm squad of W. Bruce Pirnie, Jr. '41, which operated in shifts throughout greater Boston.
More than 20 undergraduates with a number of Law School students served as vote challengers for Tom Eliot '28, Democratic aspirant for the Ninth District's seat in Congress. Other students in both parties helped ferry voters to the polls.
