FESLER FUTURE STILL IN DOUBT--UP TO WESLEYAN

No official statement has come to clear up the uncertainty concerning Wes Fesler's coaching status here next year, but there is every indication that he will be head basketball and football coach at Wesleyan come another autumn.

No comment was forthcoming from Fesler after his visit with Cardinal athletic authorities last weekend, and he has said that the next move will have to come from Wesleyan. An official announcement of the hiring of Fesler is expected from Middletown next week.

Fesler will definitely finish out the basketball schedule at Harvard, but he may report to Wesleyan for spring football practice. Details of the switch, if it materializes, will have to be worked out later.
