Two evenly matched Junior Varsity teams will wage a close battle on Yale field at 2 o'clock today, if the season's records have anything to do with it. Both squads have played the Dartmouth, Army, and Princeton Jayvees, and on the basis of past performances neither aggregation holds a decided edge.
During the season Yale defeated the Green. 14 to 0, while Harvard held them to a 13 to 13 tie. The Crimson tied Army, 6 to 6. while the Bulldogs succumbed to the service team, 23 to 7. Making a clean sweep of the Big Three series. Princeton defeated Yale. 13 to 6, and Harvard, 14 to 6.
In the one other game played by each team, the Elis downed Penn, 16 to 13, and the Lamarmen trounced the North-eastern Freshmen, 20 to 6. Last week's Jayvee fray with the R. U. Freshmen was rained out.
