Complying with Governor Saltonstall's proclamation favoring the later Thanksgiving Day, the University decided yesterday that it would officially recognize November 28 as the holiday.
Although absences from classes today will be excused, they will officially be recorded by the office even if the students are going home to states where Thanksgiving is observed today.
No disciplinary action will be taken for cuts, however.
