H.S.U. Sponsors Stag and Doe Dance To Make Yardlings Feel at Home

Harvard will have its own Roseland on Friday night when the Student Union imports 600 girls from Wellesley, Radcliffe and Simmons for their annual dance in Memorial Hall.

Aimed to make the Freshmen "feel at home," the H.S.U. jamboree has been labelled the Stag and Doe dance. It will cost the Yardlings one buck.

The first of the Student Union's invasions last year jammed Mem Hall and resulted in many acquaintanceships which have since blossomed "into lasting friendships."

The girls will be transported from their institutions in buses. From 8:30 to 9 o'clock there will be a period of mingling. Following these preliminaries music will start with Stan Brown and his Harvardians conducting the ceremonies. Attendance at the dance does not make membership in the H.S.U. compulsory.
