8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
The Harvard Division of the Sidewalk Superintendents Club of America obtained a charter from the original Rockefeller Center organization yesterday and started their drive for membership, promising a party after the first 100 members are signed up.
Founded by Glenn Saxon '44 and S. A. Tucker '44, the Club's aims are to supervise all building at Harvard, especially the new library. Membership fee is ten cents, and sister chapters are expected to spring up soon in Wellesley and Radcliffe.
The Club's motto is "De best stuurli staan an walk," which translated into white man's language, means approximately"the best pilots stand on the shore." There is a plan afoot to give lectures on the niceties of side walking kibbitzing.
