October 16 will be a busy day for the city of Cambridge. Not only will it be the last chance to register for voting, but it will also be the one day for the draft registration. City officials have asked that Harvard supply as many men as possible to help with the necessary clerical work. Those who speak a foreign language fluently are especially in demand.

Harvard can best demonstrate its desire to see smoother town and gown relations by volunteering to assist the Cambridge authorities on October 16. Those who wish to sign up (and don't forget--it excuses you from classes) should speak to a Student Council representative or write directly to the Student Council at Phillips Brooks House immediately. The deadline is tomorrow noon.
