First Talk of Twelve in Series Entitled "Words and Sentences"

"Words and Sentences" will be the subject of the lecture by Bertrand Russell, noted British philosopher, this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock in the New Lecture Hall. It will be the first of a series of twelve lectures to be given by Dr. Russell on consecutive Friday afternoons in his capacity of William James Lecturer in Philosophy.

The general topic of the series and also of the special graduate seminars which Dr. Russell will conduct in the Harvard Department of Philosophy will be "An Inquiry into Meaning and Truth."
