Dean Burwell Tells of Need For More Medical Knowledge

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Dean Burwell stressed the point that American medical schools must prepare for all eventualities by studying the effects of the war.

Not only the actual battles of infantry cause problems in modern war but also the extensive bombing areas, which leave numbers of civilian casualties in their wake. There is above all a need for a new type of hospital which will afford protection from air raids.
