Three Republicans and a Democrat accepted the invitation of the Smith "Roosevelt for President" Club Saturday evening, making the trip to Northampton after the game.

Arriving too late for the political rally, the four did get there in time for an Amherst beer party, which constituted the Democratic "entertainment." After a night in the Beta House -- Willkie's fraternity -- the three G. O. P. supporters had breakfast dates with Smith Willkiettes while the Democrat surveyed the Amherst campus.
