Sex and politics are going to be mixed this weekend at Northampton when the Smith Roosevelt Club holds a New England inter-collegiate conference for Democrats.
Free board, free room, and free entertainment are the enticements offered and according to Larry Lader '41, chairman of the Harvard for Smith Club, "the girls are simply frantic to get some Harvard men." He refused to enlarge, however, on the meaning of the word "entertainment."
The convention is being run by Mary Jackson daughter of Attorney General Jackson, and its attendance will include delegates from colleges all through the Connecticut valley.
