DOJ Sues Boston and Mayor Michelle Wu ’07 Over Sanctuary City Policy
An "Information Please" program will be conducted on the draft tomorrow night by Livingston Hall, professor of Law. At a meeting in EmersonD at 7:30 o'clock he will explain "What Draft Registrants are to Do and How the Selective Service Act Operates."
At the same time six Harvard professors will speak on the mechanics of registration in public meetings throughout Cambridge. These are sponsored by the Cambridge National Defense Committee headed by Tom A. Quinn.
The undergraduate meting was arranged by the Student Council which is assisting the college in all its plans for registering students on Wednesday.
The professors who will assist in explaining the meeting and implication of the draft to the citizens of Cambridge include James A. Mc Laughlin, professor of Law, Ralph Beatley '13 Associate professor of Education, Howard Mumford Jones, professor of English, George K. Gardiner '12, professor of Law, Samuel H. Cross '12, professor of Slavic Languages and Literature, and Dr. James M. Townsend '17 instructor in Medicine.
