BUNNIES EDGE LOWELL IN FIERCE HOCKEY TILT

Although the turnout was smaller than usual, the fourth series of inter-House hockey matches went off on schedule last night at the Boston Skating Club rink, with no serious upsets taking place.

In the first game Adams edged out Eliot 5 to 2. Doug Anderson and Bill Carr were high scorers for Adams, while Seth Crocker and Dick MacAdoo accounted for the losing team's two goals.

Dunster Bows to Out-House

Dunster, with only one line and three substitutes, was no match at all for a sterling Dormitory sextet, which triumphed 7 to 0 in a very one-sided affair. Many of the out-of-House first stringers did not show up, but Jock Elliott led his teammates to an easy win.

Coming up against unexpected resistance, the Winthrop team, which leads the league, had its hands full subduing a fighting Kirkland outfit, and won only by a 5 to 2 margin. Charlie Griffith and Dick Moot fought stubbornly for Kirkland, but Jim Rousmaniere, Rob Winsor, and Bill LaCroix, in the Winthrop first line, were too fast for them.

By far the most hotly contested game of the evening was between Lowell and Leverett, which struggled until the last minute, when a goal by Bill Daughaday gave the victory to Leverett 4 to 3. Lowell was very handicapped by the fact that only nine of its squad were able to play. Leverett, on the other hand, had more than a full line in reserve.
