1000 EXPECTED TO ATTEND APTED TESTIMONIAL FEAST

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Approximately 1,000 Alumni, faculty, and students are expected to attend the testimonial banquet on February 16 for Colonel Charles R. Apted, who has been head of the Yard Police for 18 years and has been working in the Yard in one capacity or another for the past forty years.

Memorial Hall will be used as a dining hall for the first time in many years when President Conant, ex-President Lowell, Governor Salt-onstall, Senator Henry Cabot Lodge, Jr. and many others dine and wine the Yard Police mentor.

Tickets for the dinner may be bought for $2.50 each from the House Janitors, members of the Yard Police force, or from E. Willard Phippen at the Combridge Trust Company. There will be entertainment by professionals and students.
