Kept in Cambridge by the firm hand of the Hyglene Department, a group of six students played Santa Claus with one another in Stillman infirmary during the holidays.
Though Harvard medicos released all but their sickest charges so that they could return to their homes for Christmas, there were still two patients in Stillman when College reopened yesterday. With an air of pseudo merriment, they lit a Christmas tree in the Infirmary and ate large Christmas dinners. Each received a game from the college.
Rules may have been relaxed for Christmas, but Stillman placed its ban upon New Year's Eve celebrations. Orange juice was passed around at 9:30 o'clock, temperatures were taken, and lights doused at ten as usual. Nurses refused to comment on reports that liquid refreshments were served after hours.
