8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
Library officials are now on the watch for a student, suspected to be a Communist, who has been defacing and marking up a number of the social studies magazines kept in the Periodical Room.
The culprit seems to great glee in writing comments all through the "Nation," and it has given Miss Eleanor Chase, supervisor of the Room, no end of trouble in erasing them. Already complaints have been issued by a number of professors who use the magazines regularly for their work.
If caught, the offender will be subject to the sever customarily discipline that the Library staff customarily deals out to violators of the rules. A careful network is being drawn, and within a few days, and guilty man will either have to stop his work, or go to the Dean's Office.
