Golfers Do Badly in Nationals

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Harvard's six-man delegation in the N.C.A.A. golf championships at Des Moines, Iowa during the week of June 26 to July 1 fared rather badly as only Captain-elect Ace Cordingly was able to survive the qualifying test.

Cordingly posted 76-77-153, six strokes ahead of Bob Graves' 159, but was defeated in his second match.

Cordingly unfortunately ran into the hottest nine holes of the turnament, a 31 by Minnesota's croonquist.
