PRESIDENT CONANT WILL SEE PETITION AUTHORS THURSDAY

An interview with President Conant tomorrow has been granted to the authors of the petition requesting an "explanation" of the dismissal of the assistant professors of the English and Government Departments it was learned through the President's secretary Saturday.

With six copies of the petition still circulating and untabulated, over one hundred and fifty students are known to have endorsed the demand for a "formal declaration of policy" of the University.
