HARVARD GUNMAN INJURED

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

While the Memorial Day Exercises were taking place along the river-bank yesterday, a Harvard Junior was severely injured in a fracas with fifteen local rowdies who were stoning sun-bathers on the roof of Winthrop House.

Passing by in his car while the gang was tossing stones at the persons on the roof, the student stopped and opened fire on the rowdies with his air rifle. He was immediately mobbed and when the blood and crowds had cleared he was taken off to Stillman.
