The Amherst linksmen handed the Crimson golfing forces their second defeat in as many starts yesterday afternoon at Belmont when they picked up 2 1/2 points in the best ball matches for a narrow 5 to 4 decision over the home team.
Ace Cordingley, Captain Jack Barr, and Henry Thompson won their individual matches, and Bob Graves finished all even with his opponents.
