Geological Field Trips

Two members of the Geological Department are on field trips in Central and South America. Professor Graton assisted by Oscar Gerald, has flown to Fern to study copper deposits at Cerro de Pasco mines. At the same time Professor McLaughlin is working on the west coast of Mexico, surveying for sliver and gold mines.

Professors Larson, Mathers, and Billings are working in the United States studying geological problems in New Mexico, Montana, Wyoming, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
