Healey Gets Call Against Powerful League-Leading Dartmouth Aggregation

By Theodore R. Barnett

Fighting neck and neck for Eastern Intercollegiate League supremacy, the power-ridden nines of Harvard and Dartmouth will face off in their second and final tilt of their two game series tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock on Soldiers Field.

The Indians took the Crimson's measure at Hanover last Saturday, defeating the visitors to the tune of 5 to 3, behind Hal Wonson. As a result of losing the second game of Monday's, double-header with Princeton, the Green now holds a mere half-game lead in the Circuit.

Crimson ace Tom Healey is Floyd Stahl's choice to face the Green. Healey has twirled the home forces to 4 of their 5 loop victories this season, and narrowly lost in last Saturday's affair, as he limited Dartmouth to 7 hits, fanned 3, and passed only 4 men.

Hal Wonson will again toe the mound for Dartmouth. Wonson was E. I. L. top pitcher in 1938, with 8 wins and 3 losses.

If the Crimson drops this game, the odds will be strongly against them ever regaining the lead again. Cornell with 4 wins and two losses is not on Harvard's heels, and may gain a second place tie with the Stahlmen if they beat Yale today.

Bob Gannett, just recovered from a glandular infection, has rejoined the squad, but will not start. The revamped outfield finds Lovett in left, Hoye in center, and Tully in right.
