Yachters to Start Regattas

Starting this Saturday and continuing every weekend until June 1, a series of dinghy, regattas will be held between Brown, Dartmouth, Williams, M. I. T., Navy, Yale, Princeton, and Harvard on the Charles River basin and other college yachting centers.

Competition this weekend will be for the Morse Cup, the winner of which is recognized as intercollegiate dinghy champion. M.I.T., which won the prize last year, will attempt to defend its title against seven rivals.

Tryouts for places on the team will take place tomorrow at 2 o'clock on the Basin. Among the Crimson's seasoned veterans are Chandler Hovey, Jr. '39 and Edward B. Hutton '39.
