Uncle Sam visited Harvard yesterday in the form of an agent of the Federal Buromt of Investigation, who mysteriously appeared at the Lampoon's novel and left, apparently in search of an "extortion" letter writer.
The investigator, who in true F. B. I. tradition, refused to reveal his name, motive, or personal history examined all two of the Lampoon's typewriters. He took samples of the writing and jotted down the serial numbers of each machine.
Lampy President, Edward C. K. Read, was stopped short by the agent when he attempted to remove the one typewriter, which works, and to burn off the number.
Two members of the Apted constabulary watched their rival "dick" from across the street, slinking down Mount Auburn, flattening themselves against Adams Honee.
The investigator didn't reread whether or not his search bad culminated at Lampy, but set out toward Mother Advocate.
