Tallying both goals in the second period after it had lost a first-half wind advantage, the Varsity rugby team trounced the Queen's Rugby Club 8 to 0 at Soldiers Field Saturday.

From his kicking position at fullback, Dave Colwell led the Crimson attack, ably assisted by forwards John Harvard Castle and Jack Dietz. The second period goals were chalked up by Henry Kidder and Bill Waters, while Colwell made the conversion. Both Colwell and Castle are former Yale football "greats" now attending the Harvard Business School.

Play was pushed vigorously into the visitors' territory during both periods with the Crimson showing superiority along the scrum line. Waters, Cook, and Wesselhoeft played a staunch game at the back positions.
