KERINS IS OPTIMISTIC OVER ELECTION TODAY

Campaign Comes to Brilliant Climax As Sophomore Tries for Brookline School Committee

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

On the eve of his first election, Paul M. Kerins '41, Sophomore Government student who is running for the Brookline School Committee, yesterday wound up his two month-campaign in a blare of glory as a sound truck hymued his praises all day in the streets of Brookline, and politico Kerins himself addressed two rallies.

The Sophomore's loudspeaker lobby bombarded the electorate with such slogans as "Vote for a program, not a promise; elect Kerins;" "Eliminate inefficiency: elect Kerins," and "Vote for Kerins and get good government."

"The campaign is going great guns," Kerins said last night. The sound truck will be in action during the polling today.
