Seven collegiate polo teams will meet tonight in the first round of the Intercollegiates in New York. Coach Sargent's malletmen drew a bye in the first round and will not enter the competition until the second round matches on Wednesday.

In tonight's contests: Princeton will meet West Point; Yale will oppose Norwich; and Cornell, Pennsylvania Military College.

Although they are not scheduled to play in the opening round the Crimson poloists will not remain idle, taking on the powerful 12-goal Essex Troop team at their armory in Newark. On Wednesday night the malletmen will meet the winner of the Princeton-West Point match.
