IDEAL SKI CONDITIONS TO LURE SLIDE-BOARD ARTISTS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Deep Spring snow still lingers on in Northern New England and promises to provide Crimson slide-board artists with plenty of opportunity for ski thrills during this weekend.

In fact if this unusually cold weather keeps up, there should be skiing in the North right through April and May. The curtain to the ski season falls sometime in the middle of June at the last outpost of the sport in New England, Tuckerman's Ravine.

To meet the demand for Spring skiing, the Boston and Maine Railroad is sending a Sun-Tan Snow Train up to North Conway, New Hampshire, where good skiing with 30 inches of granular snow has been reported.
