With many favorite ski trails covered with breakable crust, winter sport fans will find that Stowe, Vermont; Franconia Notch, New Hampshire; and Cannon Mountain, New Hampshire have the best snow conditions for skiing this weekend.
Stowe has cold, fair weather with 34 inches of snow. Franconia Notch reports good skiing with 45 inches of granular snow and an icy surface. Cannon Mountain has 78 inches and a granular surface.
Conway skiing is fair, with 19 inches under a breakable crust. At Intervale and Jackson fair skiing with 20 inches and a breakable crust is reported.
Pinkham Notch has 41 inches and a light crust and Plymouth, three inches of corn over a 20 inch base. Around North Conway there is 19 inches and a breakable crust.
