Vanderbilt College of Yale proved too strong for the Eliot House mermen Saturday afternoon when they won a 34-28 decision. A one-two victory in the 100-yard free-style decided the meet despite Eliot's brilliant win in the final relay.

Most exciting event of the afternoon was the breast-stroke in which Roger Willcox prevailed by the narrow margin of one foot. Bill Cann scored a win in the dive with Pete Waring just failing to take a second.
