With a promise of the best season in many years, the fencing team journeyed to New York last night to face a powerful Columbia squad at 2:30.

So far this year, the swordsmen have won a number of startling victories including defeats of Brown, Bowdoin, the Hartford Fencing Club, and St., Johns. After taking third and smothering Yale in the Pentagonal Meet, Coach Rene Peroy is hoping for a decisive win over the Elis next Saturday.
