Prospects Excellent for New Haven Tournament; Lehigh Is First Place Choice; Yale Strong

Decidedly in the shadow of the picture, Pat Johnson's grapplers will make their way to New Haven today to compete in the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Tournament. They will meet with such outstanding teams of the East as Lehigh, the favorite, Yale, Princeton, and Penn. State.

The Harvard team has had a season that might be called successful, having more victories than defeats. However, it has been defeated by both Yale and Princeton, and does not have much chance against Lehigh. It is more than probable, however, that several of the Crimson's stellar grapplers, such as "Chief" Boston, Bill Daughaday, Ted Schoenberg, Duncan Longcope, and Bruce Richardson will find their way to the finals.

If anything keeps Ross out of the top brackets it will be the fact that he is competing in the toughest weight class in recent years when he wrestles at 121.
