Among the issues which the Cambridge Teachers Union executive committee will discuss at its meeting this afternoon is the threat to the existence of the American Federation of Teachers.

He is also considering taking some courses under Pitirim Sorokin, professor of Sociology, whom he has heard about and whom he considers "very interesting."

Dilliard said that he is also going to join Granville Hicks' discussion group on American civilization.

The new member of the Nieman group is the ninth appointee under the Nieman bequest designed to improve journalism throughout the country.
