Army's polo team took revenge on the Crimson riders for two beatings from Harvard last year by staging a fast rally in the fifth chukker to score four goals and salt the game away 10-8 Saturday at West Point.
Ben Forbes, riding at the number one post for Harvard, led the Crimson scoring with six goals, tying Cadet West for scoring honors. Gay Dillingham at number two, wafted the willow pellet through the posts twice to complete the Harvard tallying.
Leading by the narrow margin of 7-6 going into the fifth chukker, the Harvard malletmen went down before a barrage of goals by West and Christian of Army. A Cadet pony kicked one point through to run the victory margin to 10-8.
