THREE FRESHMEN NAMED TO SPECIAL COMMITTEE

Bridge, Lyman, and Peabody Nominated By Union Committee to Plan Talks On Concentration

Three Freshmen were appointed by the Union Committee last night to take charge of a series of talks on concentration which will be given within the first two weeks of March. Those elected, Charles S. Bridge, A. Theodore Lyman, Jr., and Endicott Peabody, 2nd, will ask the various heads of concentration courses to speak to the Freshmen at meetings in the Union.

Further plans were made to have a few of the fathers of Freshmen give informal talks in the spring. Although nothing definite has been decided as yet. Edmond B. Spaeth, chairman of the Union Committee, said that he hopes Mr. Benchley and Admiral Byrd will condescend to speak.

Late next month the Student Council and the Union Committee will draw up nominations for Freshman class officers; and to that list will be added all names which have been petitioned. The Freshman class president will then appoint the Smoker and Jubilee committees.
