Charley Smith and Frank Neal reached the semi-finals in the dash, and Langdon Burwell came in sixth out of a field of 20 in the 1000.
In the feature event of the meet Glenn Cunningham nipped Chuck Fenske in a 4:15.5 mile as Gene Venzke was third.
