"Strong Man" Conrad T. Budny '40 is Harvard's champion all-time, all-American milk swilier. Interviewed in his Kirkland House room yesterday, he confessed, "I seldom drink less than seven glasses of milk per meal. As long as I can remember I always drank a lot of milk--even before I was weaned. I started young and never broke the habit."
Budny admitted that the first time he ordered his usual seven glasses of milk in the Kirkland House dining hall everybody was astonished, especially the waitresses. "Now I never have to ask the waitresses; they bring it out for me automatically," he proudly attests.
"Of course I frequently take other beverages in the same quantities," he said. No one can accuse "Strong Man" Budny of being a sissy. He has one pair of 50 pound weights which he lifts every day and another 200 pound pair which he keeps in his bathroom for special occasions.
