Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
Spencer A. Klaw '41 will head the CRIMSON next year, succeeding Blair Clark '40 as President, it was announced last night. Klaw and the 1941 Board will take office February 1, 1940, and continue for one year.
The new Managing Editor will be Alfred J. Gilbert '41 of Adams House and New York City. He succeeds Sheffield West '40. Assuming the Editorial Chairmanship, previously held by Garfield Horn '40, is Richard D. Edwards '40 of Leverett House and Pittsburgh.
Executive Sports Editor
From the News Board have been chosen two more Executive officers, William W. Tyng '41, as Executive Editor succeeding Charles N. Pollak II '40, and D. Donald Peddie '41 in a now and permanent Senior post as Sports Editor. Tyng is from Leverett and Darien, Conn.; Peddie lives in Lowell House and Minneapolis.
Another officer has been added to the Business Board this year, who will have equal power with the Business Manager. Succeeding John H. Sisson '40 as Business Manager will be Henry Doerr '41 of Leverett House and Minneapolis, while the new Advertising Manager post will be held by H. Field Haviland '41 of Leverett and East Orange, N. J.
Klaw Active on Council
Klaw, who lives in Adams House and Carmel, N. Y., prepared at Loomis, where he edited the Loomis Log. He was appointed to the Student Council last spring and is now serving on the Council's standing committee on Teaching. Previously he was active on the Council's Committee on Housing. On the CRIMSON he has held the positions of Secretary and House Editor. He is a member of the Signet.
The election of the 1941 officers was by a unanimous Board vote, following a six weeks' competition this fall.
