The debating team lost a heart breaking decision to St. John's College of Brooklyn Friday afternoon.
The Crimson speakers, Stanley H. Kapner '40 and Payson R. Wolff '42 took the affirmative of the subject, Resolved: The Townsend Plan Should Be Adopted" but were defeated by a 2-1 decision.
Next week Harvard is scheduled to meet Mt. Holyoke on the subject "Government Censorship and Control of Communications." This will be a New England hookup over station WAAB, as was the St. John's debate.
