"I think it would be just dandy to celebrate Thanksgiving on November 23," Robert "Bar-Fly" Davis said last night in support of the Harvard Thanksgiving Day Committee's campaign to have the University to celebrate both November 23 and 30.
"A holiday on Thursday would be a boon to all elbow-benders at Harvard. Nectar's gift to the grandstands would receive its full share of attention if the pending defeat of Eli were to be celebrated beginning Thursday," Davis said.
The only difficulty Davis foresaw would be a shortage of liquor in the Square dispensaries before the end of the weekend if the plan went through.
