When Earl Bemis died last year he bequeathed $200,000 to the Gray Herbarium, but no one around Harvard's giant plant collection has seen any of it yet.
Bemis's relatives have strenuously contested the will on the ground that the late philanthropist was not in his right mind.
To support their contention they claim that he always were rubbers tied on with rubber bands, even when he was indoors. They also maintain that when he died there were 20 hornet nests in his bedroom
