BUNNIES BEAT GREEN DORMITORY TEAM, 19-0

Finally clicking after two heart-breaking defeats, Leverett House walked over the Dormitory football team to a 19 to 0 victory yesterday afternoon in an independent game.

The contest was the first for the Ramblers, and they showed their inexperience in a lack of teamwork and blocking. The Bunnies, on the other hand, seemed to have hit their stride, and as they outweighed the scrappy Dorm boys 15 pounds per man, the score was remarkably low.

Hamill Scores

Hunt Hamill scored the first touchdown after a determined second period march put the ball on the one-yard line. Bill Tyng's buck for the extra point failed.

A blocked punt was the cause of the second score, when Gordy Day broke through the Rambler line to knock down Jack Bronston's kick on the Dorm goal line. Hank Burgess fell on the ball for the score and Ed Edmunds made the extra point on an off-tackle slant.

Vint Freedley garnered the last touchdown with three minutes to go in the final quarter.

Fumbling Hinders

Leverett's frequent fumbles were the chief bar preventing them from running up a high score, but their defense was air-tight. Edmunds shone in the backfield, while Ben Wilcox, tackle, and the two ends, Jack Hughes and Dick Dawes, were outstanding.

Jack Bronston, triple-threat man, starred for the Dormitory team, while Plugger Young, Henry Evertt, and Vince Rossi looked good in the line.

Two tough teams will tangle this afternoon when Adams meets Kirkland. The Gold Coasters have a record of one win and one loss, having beaten Eliot and lost to Dudley. The Deacons beat Leverett and tied Dunster, and are rated favorites.

Dudley, with two victories already behind it, should score a third at the expense of Eliot, already twice a loser.
