With one and a half times as much advertising as the entire Red Book had last year and with 700 subscribers, the 1942 Register came out yesterday and was distributed to the Freshmen.

Eugene D. Keith Chairman of the Red Book and Register, simultaneously announced an eight weeks contest to begin next week for the editorial and photographic boards.

Herbert T. McMeekin has been appointed Advertising Manager of the publication.
