Officially, Professor Frankfurter does not know of his court appointment, but hundreds of his pupils and former in tees were aware that his noon class would probably be his last as a member of the faculty.

The professor has made no plans as yet for departure to Washington, where he will take up his new duties, and does not intend to do so until he receives official communication from Washington authorities.
