WRESTLERS SHAPE UP AS UNKNOWN QUANTITY

In better shape than is usual for the first match of the year, the wrestlers will release a team of unknown calibre against the Tigers when they visit Cambridge this Saturday.

Swinging into its final workout before its opening match this week, Pat Johnson's octet of fifty percent "green material" will swing into action under Captain Harvey Ross. Ross is one of the few members of last year's team who did not graduate, and he at 120 pounds with Bill Daughaday at 165, another veteran, are expected to bear the brunt of the Crimson scoring.

In the second weight of 128 pounds is Ted Schoenberg, who was perhaps the outstanding wrestler on the Freshman team last year. He is sure to show rapid development in the course of the year. Following, in the 136 pound class is "Ric" Richter, who grappled in several varsity matches last year. He was not outstandingly successful, but he always wrestled a hard, fast match.

At 145 and 155 are Bruce Richardson and "Bunny" Barnes, both of whom held outstanding records on the Freshman team last year. Richardson lost a long overtime match to his Yale opponent for his only defeat. Barnes was never defeated.

The two top weights are the greatest question marks. In the 175 pound class, Tudor Gardiner, who wrestled heavyweight last year, has worked down to compete in the lighter class. At unlimited is footballer "Chief" Boston, who was kept out of the running last year by Bill Glendinning, shows great potentialities.

Both Ross and Daughaday did well on the team last year, the latter placing third in the Eastern, and they are the surest bets this year.
