Coach Johnny Wood's Jayvee cagers flashed their best form of the season and the result was a convincing 54 to 30 victory over the Tufts Jayvees in a well played game yesterday afternoon in the Indoor Athletic Building.
The Crimson, paced by Bill McSweeney and Lee Bird with 15 and 14 points respectively, were never headed as they jumped into an immediate edge and widened this into a 28 to 18 margin a half-time. Much of their success was due to the fact that they were able to control the rebounds off of both backboards.
