NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Dean Leighton and Arthur M. Schlesinger, professor of History, have been appointed by the Phillips Brooks House Committee to fill vacancies created by the resignation of George H. Chase '96, Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and the transfer of George G. Wilson, professor of International Law, Emeritus, to the Association Committee it was announced yesterday.

Raymond Dennett '36, Graduate Secretary of P. B. H., also revealed yesterday that the $400 appropriation which sends two students to the Grenfell Mission in Labrador each summer has been withdrawn and will be used to finance any student summer activity along social service lines considered worthy of subsidy. Work at the Grenfell Mission is not necessarily excluded, however.

Recently appointed by Dennett and Richard H. Sullivan '39, President of the Student Council, to a committee to select new books for the Stillman Infirmary library were Ellsworth Grant '39, chairman, Frederick E. Pamp '39, and Frank P. Davidson '39. The group will have a $100 appropriation.
