Two Harvard graduates are listed among ten Faculty appointees announced by the University yesterday for 1938-39.
Arthur P. Butler '30 and Oscar W. Jarrell '35 received port-folios in the Geology Department, the former as an Austin Teaching Fellow with Sherman A. Wengerd, the latter as an assistant with Wilson D. Michell.
Also named are Philip D. Cartwright, William O. H. Prentice, and John R. P. French, Jr. as Psychology assistants, A. Orville Dahi as instructor in Botany, Alden S. Crafts, Research Fellow in Biology for the first half-year, and Kurt Lewin, lecturer on Dynamic Psychology for the second half-year.
