Climaxing plans for Commencement Week, Jimmy Dorsey's orchestra will play for the Class of 1938 next Monday eve, it was announced yesterday by the Senior Spread Committee.
The well-known band will play in Lowell House, where the dance aspect of the Spread is to be held, from 10 until 3 o'clock. The buffet supper will be given in Winthrop House between 11:30 and 1 o'clock, it was also announced. Tickets for the entire gala affair can be purchased either at the H. A. A. or at the door on Monday. The prices are: $5.50 per couple. $3.50 per stage.
Opening the first Graduation week in the fourth century of Harvard history will be President Conant's Baccalaureate sermon before the Seniors, their friends, and families in Memorial Church on Sunday, June 20 at 4 o'clock. Afterwards the President will honor the Class with a reception in his home on 17 Quincy Street.
After the dance merriment in Lowell House on Monday evening will come the Class day activities on Wednesday, beginning at 11:30 o'clock in the Kirkland House triangle, Here will be given the Class Orations, Poem, and Ode.
Following these morning exercises, Seniors will have luncheon at the Houses. At 1:30 o'clock the Twenty-fifth Reunion Class will lead the parade of alumni to the Stadium. After the ceremonies here there will be another parade to the ball field and the game with Yale at 3 o'clock.
After dinner in the Houses the alumni will assemble in Kirkland House triangle for a concert by the Glee Club and the Instrumental Club, which will end at 9:45 o'clock.
